Paddock news
Over the weekend we deployed new software release to Paddock. F1 2024 game was added to list of games and a small Paddock app version number overlay was added to make some trouble cases more convenient to debug.
Since March this year, we have also done a round of software library updates, with cyber security and maintenance being the focus.
Unfortunate side effect is that the in True Drive software releases 2023.10 and earlier, the bundled Chromium web browser was so old that the new React and other libraries didnāt work properly anymore, with some users often facing black screen issues.
Starting with 2024.1 release we updated the Qt framework to the latest release. If you are facing blank screen issue in Paddock app when trying to view profile settings, please update True Drive to 2024.1 or later release.

We have released Simucube Tuner 2.5 Open Beta.
With this release, users are able to control Simucube ActivePedals and the Simucube 2 wheel base from a single software. Other additions include remapping wireless wheel buttons (if wheel is connected via Simucube Link Hub) and LED configuration for the Valo GT-23 wheel (and sometime soon more wireless wheels).

Hi everyone,
With just a few days to go before the release of ASSETTO CORSA EVO, will there be a TRUE DRIVE update so that I can enjoy the game?
No updates to True Drive needed to make the new sim to work. It already worked in Simracing Expo a few months ago.
For ActivePedals, we need to verify how the telemetry works and then make a release with support for AC EVO. That already worked in Simracing Expo, but was running a custom release due to there being just a tiny bit of difference in the telemetry.
Hi everyone
I saw it while following the news on RFRO, thank you all the same for sharing it, and Iām surprised that Kunos only recommends 8 NM, in any case Iām going to test their solutions.
The might have the cars that they have modeled, all top out at 8 Nm max steering column torque. I donāt see that they would have any cars in the upcoming release that would realistically have more torque than that on steering column in real life.
Torque is a very personal thing, set to whatever suits you and your body.
There is no at wheel torque to speak about in modern power steered or drive by wire cars, so we can throw that as a āsimulation valueā out of window.
Simucube Tuner 2.5 has been released. It will replace the Simucube 2 True Drive software. New additions are the much requested automatic profile switching, among many other things such as UI improvements.

Hello
Canāt wait to test this great update this weekend
Hello everyone,
Simucube 2 Pro owner, this is an excellent update, the ergonomics are good, itās better focused and clearer, I have the impression that the ffb has changed slightly for the better, I think it could be thanks to the Torque Linearity filter parameter, Not forgetting the not obligatory but very practical parameter, the recognition of profiles, by games and cars.
Iām just sorry that my steering wheel, a
NSH GT BLE , is recognised as a simple wireless steering wheel and is still not compatible, but thatās not a problem, it was already the case before.
All I can hope for now is to win the lottery and buy myself a set of active pedals, which will remain a dream
In any case, well done to the whole team for a job well done.
I donāt know, myself found it much less intuitive, cluttered, and confusing.
Too much bloat in the UI with stuff Iāll never have/use (active pedals, simhub link), but simple stuff like loading profile is extra step with opening load screen instead of just clicking in the list. And editing profile from single form fitting single screen to super long one with multiple drill downs and oversized controls.
Looks like from the same guy who designed COD WarZone UI.
Try to roll back to the older one if I still can.
