just curious , on the test tab in granity what is your HV DC bus ?
i made a drc for you if you want to try some time. just give me a sec to change somethin to that
reducing the TBW doesn’t help.

Ok, thanks a lot for all your help the HV DC bus, is it HV DC bus voltage your asking for? If so it’s pending between 47.5 and 47.6 VDC.

thats what i thought , close to 47.3 that we have . that’s why i changed fov to 50 . anyway i hope it helps . if not you can always revert to your previous drc
i would also talk with simracingcoach to provide drc for augury , or try to help you in case there is a hardware fault , just to be sure.
the differences in your drc compered to what I had is.

Ok try fov 50.5 then 51 and tell us if there is a diff
FOV is a fault threshold. It has no effect on the motor feeling when turning the wheel slowly.
It didn’t do any difference.

Dunno if it is just me but i can not hear what you mean. I was expecting somethin else to be honest. Can you make a bigger video ?
I have that exactly same sound with large mige while phasing and think it is completely normal.
Mild sound during the phase search/initialization routine is completely normal. The routine uses relatively high current, which makes the motor coils vibrate on an audible frequency.
That sound is also giving me a resistance which I can feel in the game like a braking force.
This is a short video how it is in Assetto Corsa. Sorry for the bad quality and sound I only have a cellphone to record with.
If I should try to describe it, it feels and sounds like your are hitting the motor shaft with a hammer a very metallic sound.
whats the wheel rotation of that car ? are you hitting the end of the wheel rotation ? if you can now upload pictures from your settings in simucube all tabs and don’t forget bumstops and in game ofcourse. Although i doubt it has so small wheel rotation. Softlock for the game is disabled in the ini i told you? The same thing happens in iracing too ?
I don’t know I can’t view that list you gave me, I’m not a member of that forum. Should be 540 degree. I’m not hitting any endstop. It’s the same in both games, less in iRacing. I can tune out the large sound in the second video with Reconstruction filter in iRacing. I haven’t tried Reconstrution filter in Assetto Corsa. What I can’t get rid of is the small sound and braking forces that is very simular to what’s in the first video. That feeling is taking away all the small forces like road structure and the feel of the tyres because all I feel is that braking/grinding feel. I hope it makes it a bit more clear what’s going on.

somethin very important, is the whole thing grounded (wall socket , the servo etc )? Send me a pm with the photos from all tabs , or a link . Can you also take some photos of the steering wheel and how it is attached to the servo? Recon filter 3 to 5 should be able to help with the sound in ac as well
