Steering Wheels of the SC2 Community

Ok thanks for the response

hello and congratulations, I would like advice from you and everyone. I own a cubecontrols gt sparco and would like to replace the sparco with one like yours in the picture or like that. I would like to know if it is possible and where I can buy this type of steering wheel. thank you

You can try ssrg.eu.

Turn Racing R20 is a great wheel, and Zach is a really good guy. Here’s my Cube GT Lite on an R20. I used the 70mm adapter as a spacer between the button box and wheel. I also used the low profile wrench to open the gap to the paddle shifters. Can’t remember if either of those is absolutely necessary, but I’m very happy with the result.

I’ve read some horror stories about injuries induced by open wheels.

I owned multiple open top rims with osw before and sc2 now, never had a single problem.

They always leave one alive to tell the story.

Guess any type of wheel you could be injured by
if you were to get your wrist stuck in a round wheel I assume it could cause injury as easily as getting caught by the the end of the bull horn
Direct drive wheels are inherently dangerous

Awesome work, which screen did you end up using?

Screen I use a Nextion 4.3"

I’ve got two rims. One for rally & classic cars (Momo Drift)… and another for modern formula, GT, prototype stuff (Cube Controls Sparco GT Wireless). The rally rim’s complete lack of buttons is compensated for with the custom button box I just built. I try to map as many controls as possible to the button box, so when I hotswap rims, I don’t need to re-adjust anything. Basically: switching to the Sparco wheel simply adds more buttons needed by the cars that use this rim.

Hey Adam, how do you find the shifter pull travel range for your size hands? Any contact made between the shifter lever and the backs of your fingers when shifting!? I ask because the AR shifter option looks to be further distanced from the wheel rim in pictures which makes me think it’s not too narrow of a gap while simultaneously shifting with pointer finger and gripping the rim with the rest of your hand. Trying to decide between the sport model or pro. Thanks in advance

Just made the jump to SC2 pro and converted this wheel (only one for now) so will probably provide more feedback after more mileage but for now I thought to share.

Bit of a random question, but where did you get the spacer/extention from your base to the wheel?
Also, how long is it? (I’ve been looking around online and the longest I can find is around 120mm and that looks a lot longer)

this is from Simlab. But i see they never sold that. 200 mm
