Thanks mate, I just ordered one of those yesterday!
That formula wheel looks beautiful!
How is the quality compared to PSE?
hello and thank you, I canāt tell you the differences because Iāve never had a PSE but I can tell you that the quality of materials and finishes of my formula are excellent.
Hi all,
My Pro with 70mm shaft spacer and different wheels:
- BMW M8 by F1Simgames (@ http://www.f1simgames.com/ )
- Momo 320mm for GT cars
- OMP 330mm for WRC with paddles cars
- Sparco 350mm for all others rally cars (R5, A8 etc)
And the spacer of courseā¦ (use 2pc Ascher adapters https://www.ascher-racing.com/shop/sqr-70mm-adapter/)
How much did the M8 wheel cost you if you donāt mind answering? and which spacer is that?
I have buy it before 2 years and i and I suggest you ask a question on their site about the cost.
But Iām strong believe the cost is quite ācheapā for its quality!
The spacer is a cheap from China and you can finding via ebay or Ali shop
That BMW wheel looks nice!!! I
just sent them a email lol.
What shifters did you get? How are they?
The shifters are made by the F1Simgames with fiber carbon levers.
That shifters are very nice and also have strong magnets.
Congrats !!! Very nice , looks very nice. I am waiting for an SSRG wheel as well
His work is amazing, please let us know how you like it
That screen is insane. What do you use there?
Thank you. I bought it to ultimately replace my 3 current rims - a cube GT Pro, simracingbay gt3, and a johnnyV custom GT wheel (Ascher shifters). There arenāt many things Iāll wait 4 months for (Iām sure turnaround is quicker sans-covid), but this one was worth the wait. At 300mm it works for all formats, the encoders and buttons make even the cubeās components seem a bit sloppy, the shift magnets are twice as strong as cube/ascher and exceed them in feel (my opinion), and the sportline rim is excellent; super thick which I really like, and itās literally the only open top rim on the market over 280mm, which allows me to see full dash displays on screen. There are surprisingly few open top designs on the market so it ticks all the boxes. I really like the Bentley replica wheels he makes also; donāt have one though, yetā¦
Itās a 65ā 4K Samsung mounted to a DIY monitor stand that straddles the rig. I got lucky and grabbed one of the last curved models they made I think.
Hello, Vunnible
Are you satisfied with this screen?
Actually i am thinking of buying samsung odyssey g9.
Itād be difficult to choose between a 65ā and an ultra wide, as each has its benefits, but Iām definitely happy with it. It has advantages over the UW, like being tall enough to see the full height of the windshield and dash display at the same time, particularly with the open top wheel. Itās also bright enough to run HDR, something monitors still havenāt delivered which is beyond me. And you canāt ignore the cost savings - mine was around $700; itās not a high end tv but solidly in the midrange and does itās job perfectly. Personally I believe the larger surface area also improves immersion, but that can be very subjective.
The disadvantages are that you canāt see the full width of the dash / windshield, and it canāt be placed as close as some setups that have the monitor between the wheel rim and motor. However I donāt personally mind the latter since even at 4K the picture gets pretty grainy up that close.
I will say I think TVās are really overlooked in the sim racing world in general. Itās hard to beat the sleek appeal of a massive ultra wide for most, but I have no plans to do anything different any time soon.
Can you please post cockpit view, wondering how you set it up. Usually lots of real estate at the top of big 16:9 is wasted.
Thanks
Iāll be back in town tomorrow and Iāll take some pics. Canāt say there isnāt some waste at the top but itās only the top-most 6ā or so.
Is it wireless I need one.
SSRG wheels are exclusively USB as far As I know
