Do you lose signal sometimes with simucube 1 ? I got the martin ascher b16 with simucube 2 and sometimes its lost signal … really not nice

could you try to remove the antenna plastic cap carefully (rotate the cap)? I suspect the antenna wire to be squeezed too much inside the cover, compromising signal quality. The wire can be rearranged and the cover can be popped back in with a drop of glue.
There should be no signal losses or disconnects in any situation, obviously.
Any date range when more B16L-SC wireless wheels will be available?
Next batch is expected to be finished until the end of August.

i had the same issue and made a costum solution for this, with a RC Car antenna Cover. Remove the cap slighly. Theres a small cable antenna inside - release it. Afterwards drill a small hole for the Plastic cover like this: https://amzn.to/2Jjd6X2
Afterwards i had 60-100%

Will the next batch of F28-SC have less issue with wireless? A bit worrying to hear some are having issues and have to DIY fix it when the price is such as it is.
Though perhaps I should wait for this new version of wireless to get more performance for the money, if it’s not too far out.
Hi what cable is needed to place the receiver PCB away from the main PCB, I thought it mounted directly? Do you think a 50cm or 1m cable would work? Thanks.
This is much shorter, maybe 20 cm. The wire/cable goes by many names, search for “Dupont Cable Breadboard Jumper”. This is only if you have an obstruction and need to get the card/antenna out of the metal box that houses your SC1.
Where did you get the bracket and is that a spacer attached to the wheel side?
Seem hot swapping isn’t possible, or at least, it’s pointless. I have two devices from Ascher Racing, both use buttons in range of 33-60, but they are not at all assigned in the same position.
For example, the pit limiter button on one may be increase brake bias on the other. So I can setup and bind one device perfectly, but have no say then on where those functions are on the other device.
Wish I had just bought USB unless there is a fix for this.

Hi, today i tried to use my fanatec xbox universal hub converted to usb and i realized that not all of the buttons are recognized on it? If i remember well it worked very well 6 months ago. Perhaps it is some kind of driver issue i dont know.
Anyway my question is: is it possible to convert the fanatec xbox hub to work with simu 1 using the wireless communication? Is there anywhere an available kit for that? Or a diy tutorial?
quick answer is NO… as the USB conversion is a decoding process of the buttons… However that being said if someone can program the USB Conversion chip to output different button signals it might be possible but it would be quite complex and probably not really worth it.
What if i simply remove the main board from the universal hub and i put the wireless module and the battery in the box and i connect the wires coming from the buttons to the wireless module? Those are simple buttons right? And they are having connectors which could be removed
I mean who needs the main board and the fancy fanatec programming in it. All i need are the buttons and the shifters connected to the simucube right? Where is the problem in my logic?

Where is everyone buying the steering wheel wireless module? I’ve sent questions to racewerk.com and simtechracing.co.uk and I received no answer.
ascher-racing.com has answered but he didn’t want to send me a board.
I think that the new customers are buying the simu2 so they are not potential customers.
Current simu 1 owners with mige servos I think are buying the simu 2 as well as an upgrade and they are not spending money on simu 1 addons anymore.
I am having the big lenze which is - according to my testing- as good as or better than the simu 2 pro (I had no possibility to check the ultimate so far), so I am not planning to sell it at the moment. I am planning to buy the wireless modul if the Fanatec is supported somehow. (I have lot of Fanatec wheels which are currently using the usb converter but the wireless modul would be a big step ahead)
So to summarize: this is not a big business, they are not selling a lot of wireless modules I think…
But the wheel side wireless module is not a specific SimuCUBE 1 addon.
