SimuCUBE Open Source Firmware: Public Beta version 0.8.x bug reports

You shouldn’t need to use Granity to enter settings for different games. Can you post screenshots about what happens at each step?

The EStop is always released,a jack socket connected to the two terminals (5 and 0) and then a shunt plug which makes contact.

It seems that you haven’t run the update firmware wizard with the 0.8.3 zip package.

Also, before connecting via Granity, you must press the Enable IONI USB Configuration -button as explained in the manual.

Also, you must update Granity to latest version to connect to IONI Firmware.

Ou je peux trouver “0.8.3 zip package”?

Where can I find “0.8.3 zip package”?
And thank you !

Mika please when you have a chance check out this link… Jason over at iRacing may have found a bug in the wheel angle setting in relation to the profiles…

Noted, it seems he is not clicking away from the editing field.

edit: To add, I’m going to replace the manual field with a slider some time…

OK that is one area that I haven’t messed with so I knew nothing of how it reacts since I don’t tend to use anything other than the 900deg

Updated to 0.8.3 using with iracing.
Just wanted to confirm (even with this version) that every time I start simucube I get max power and not the one set with the slider.
To get it works I must change a one of the values and click save. This is every time I power it on.

This is a known issue, fix has been found, and it will be in the next beta build.

not really a bug report but i tried automobilista to try the 720hz ffb rate, and with 5% ffb it has really heavy feedback and the game has crazy osculation with the formula v10 car video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdFn0hr3cY8 any tips for the oscillation ?

I have to turn down the output quite a bit with AMS as the signal seems to be really strong. I haven’t noticed much - if any oscillation issues but, the “Peaking & Notch Filter, Attenuation & Q-factor” functions should help.

Anyone had any issue with the Read-Only Safe profile ? When running the Large Mige + Ioni Pro HC with Max Motor Current set to 25A, I forgot to change the profile the other day and went out with the Read-Only profile configured and it subsequently tried to rip my arms from my socket(well bit of an over dramatisation there  ) but it was very strong, the read only profile states 20% Overall strength and an estimated max torque of 8.27Nm, but it felt at least twice as strong as my normal profile that tend to run @ 35% (14.48NM) .

The problem is safe profile has recon filter turned off would be better if the default was 5.

Hi everyone I have a problem with my osw small mige simucube and pro hc ions.

today after months off for work I updated the simucube fw and found the new ummos setting panel

Trying on ac (and even on rf2) just turning right or left for more than half turn takes off power and tells me motor issue

Does anyone get it? What advice do you give me?

thank you

Please post screenshots of your settings from Granity.

The current released version of SimuCUBE firmware clears all faults before going to Granity, so no luck in actually reading a fault there. I will release a new build soon where this is corrected, and where the UI also shows some sensible fault explanations.

in the granity it does not enter because the firmware is not compatible with the granity setting program

You must update to latest version of Granity.
