I think you meant TrueDrive in stead of Youtube, Mika?

The profiles are in the cloud even when you havenā€™t published them?

Afaik, all profiles are in the cloud.
Published means they are available for others as well.

Correct. Classic autocorrect things this time

I have (another) problem with Paddock, it basically opens on some random profiles which are not the one set as default nor the last one I used. example, it just opened on R3E profile, despite having set Ac as default and the last sim I played was iracing. whatā€™s the reason it opens on an unrelated profile any time?

Hi guys
I installed td 2021.12 then 2022.2.
The last one seems to be more muted from my personal feelings.
I reverted to 2021.12.
Btw i have sc2 pro from one month ago.(before that, i used Fanatec DD1)
When i choose default profile, then select another profile, after restart TD, is selected the last profile instead of my default one. And with the last TD, motor is quiet but less powerful and more dampening(not so alive). I use Ascher f28 sc v2 and SRC gt1 with ACC exclusively.
Anybody feel the same orā€¦ Itā€™s only me?
And with the last TD i have more oscillation with same settings.
My settings gain 100, damper 5, friction 5, ull 10 and anothers untouched.
In ACC gain 35, dynamic damper 100.

Yes, same here. It hapening even i switch the profile and when comeback in simple mode, no ffb.

I donā€™t know if itā€™s still a problem with version 2022.2, now Iā€™m back with the advanced settings because version 2022.2 is very good for me .
You should try for VAC and even for AC1 :
60% NM
1 or 2 of reconstruction filter
damper, friction, inertia on 0.
in game the gain around 40% to 70% depending on what you like, and damper 100 damping 0.
If however you find that the wheel is too violent decrease the SLEW RATE LIMIT until you like it.

Me too im back to 2022.2 (because no some coil whine sounds from the base), but try this. Create one profile in simple mode with 100 strengh and sliders to RAW. Work very fine until choose another profile, then when change again to RAW profile very little feedback. It"s not the case in expert mode. I dont know what settings are in RAW simple mode because for me feel very good and i wanna duplicate in expert mode.
And when is weak ffb just move the slider to low Nm and then again to max and everything ok.

There you have it, thatā€™s exactly what was happening, so itā€™s still not settledā€¦ :smirk:

Yep. Same in TD 2021.12, Right now i made some tests and i choose TD 2021.12 because with same profile, same car, same track i have much less oscillations at high speed when i take hands off the wheel (M4GT3, Suzuka). What means in TD 2022.2 " Other improvements

  • Improve torque control performance ?
  • Improve precision/smoothness of sinusoidal current waveforms. ?

Those improvements mean - generally - smoother current signals going to the motor. The updates can reduce audible noises from the motor.

A new firmware release is soon ready for testing. This time the improvements are

  • conclusive fix for the wireless wheel receiver communication issue
  • reduce unneeded anonymous device performance data
  • increase useful anonymous device performance data
    • namely, we added device fault codes and their visible lengths so we can track (unlikely) device health issues proactively.

Iā€™m always more than willing to help you test the new version. =)

Any other testers? Only the changelog needs to be written. And we need someone with an Ultimate to give it a go.

Hi Mika, I have an Ultimate and can give the beta a test.

You are in! :+1:

Looks like a release is due very soon.

is it possible to copy a existent profile from my offline profiles?

Offline profiles are stored in Documents/Simucube 2/cachedprofiles directory.

Duplicating profiles is fully supported in the Paddock.

so i can copy by duplicating the file on the explorer is that it?
