Simucube 2 True Drive software feedback thread

I had the same issue I’m pressing e stop and releasing instead of restarting

See the already published changelog for next version - new version of the Qt platform fixes a lot.

Hi All,

just flicking through and picked up, if i am correct or incorrect but are we loosing filtering options on future updates in FW? really hope not ?

We are removing some filter options that are rarely used, or that have been replaced with better new filters. Its just normal software development for greater good and ease of use.

@Mika if i understand correctly telemetry is sending automatically since last firmware?

yes, it is sending if you have given consent for sending it.

Hi Mika, during driving mode, i noticed the rear led light keep blinking between blue and red…is this normal for sc2 pro ?

It is, Police in da House!
You can dim it with adhesive tape or similar

how long do we have to wait?

It should be done this month. Mostly need to get the texts and styling right, do a code review and a round of testing.

Hi Guys,

I am helping a rookie setup a SC2 for the first time. Since I never set my own up before I let Brion borrow it I must say it is a bit of a challenge setting someone up remotely!!

I have the wheel functioning. It took a few attempts to get firmware to update. I had to have him move USB cables to different ports etc.

I have iRacing configured for him and he was able to put in some laps and is excited about the wheel.
I am sure it must really feel a little like ASS as he is just driving on the default SC2 settings.

I would like to know if anyone has a decent profile for iRacing the Ford Mustang GT?
He runs
Monster Energy
Monster Cup
Class A Open

Also on the forum any where a data sheet listing the proper settings for hands off, force reduction etc?

Thanks for any help!!!

Also he had a crazy thing going on with his monitors/ Big ASS TV’s when he would exit the sim

He has alot of devices and is running a next level motion cockpit.
So there are many potential EMI sources here

Joe, easiest place to start is to disable motion for now and get wheel setup, go from there. This will allow minimising devices that can cause issues.

You may want to switch USB ports around a bit too…

Oops, ignore, I read like my arse …apologies, see it is all good

Best “Español”, not “Española” if we’re talking about language.

Thanks for the correction!

Indeed, I tried to improvise with Google Translate for the language names. The actual texts are translated elsewhere.

Check also the deepl translator, I usually use it more than google, I think it goes better. Everything I write around here is with deepl.
