SC2 September Batch

So it’s already 3 SC2’s - 1 pro and 2 ultimate

Btw all Fanatecs items(all but break performance kit, which is basically just rubbers) were faulty. I must admit Fanatec changed or fixed problems, but still…

no issues getting an ultimate right away, from deciding to delivery in 4 days

Tbf you got pretty lucky with your timing!

Very true, I am just saying that right now one can be had while supplies last. actually I was about to order the Leo Bodnar and I was just checking the Sim Racing Bay website like I usually do to see if anything changed otherwise I was going to just order the LB. but to my surprise SC2U was available so I pulled the trigger and ordered a wireless wheel. If I didn’t opt for at least 1 wireless wheel I would have gone the other route

so you are correct thing lined up, it will be in hand tomorrow.

You’ll love it. And as a previous SS2 owner I can confirm you made the right choice

Big difference from the ss2? In what way? Fidelity, speed, smoothness?

Sim Racing Garage did a review while back compacking SS2 and OSW with couple of folks joining him in his garage. I believe 3 out of 4 preferred the OSW from a feel perspective of the details.

I think big difference is probably an exaggeration but the latency is noticeably reduced and I can still retain the Bodnar smoothness but with added detail. Tuning options are way more varied too, there’s only really one type of feel to the Bodnar where as the SC2 offers a lot of different options to play with.

That review was of a SS1 and a $5000 OSW.

It was also with a pre-Simucube OSW. Things have come a long way since then.

Ask Tomo if he will sell you one. He is a very nice guy.

Eventually it would be nice if GD should offer one so there can be a standard across all models.

I contacted SRB support through the website a few weeks ago about purchasing a mount, but I have not heard back. Is there another to get in contact with Tomo?

JCL-simracing has a similar one:

Augury bracket similar but silver

Not similar. The Augury one is stainless steel.

Thanks guys. EsxPaul I reached out to this company over a week ago and they finally got back to me about an hour ago. I guess a few companies are on vacation at this time.

I did talk with Tomo today but he did not offer so I assumed he didn’t have one to sell me.

Ok thanks for the reply.
Where do you live?

No problem I’m in California.
