SC2 September Batch

that What i mean…

I wil go for a simucube 2 pro.
but i will wait until maybe november or something like that.

I’m talking about “deceiving advertising”, that’s a whole different story. and that’s something that usually doesn’t go unnoticed.

Just to be clear : I’m not blaming ANY of the people that runs this forum, nor anybody that is part of the project and intervene here to give us assistance, which is by far the best kind of assistance and attention any customer could ever hope for.
I’m blaming the marketing / sales division of GD / Simucube for the lack of communication and transparency about this whole preorders ordeal.
This is not the way to deal with customers, and even more not a respectful approach to them.
1 update every month on the “News” section of the website, update that contains a completely misleading and deceiving information, it’s not what people that paid 1.3k on average and it’s waiting for a product that has already seen 3 delays in such a short time without any kind of communication, is expecting from them.
it is not possible that we should become aware of any delays and postponements by reading a post published by some users by pure chance, and not because there is a transparent communication by the team in charge of doing so. And that’s the second time that it happens this way.
That’s not fair guys, not at all.

Thank you so much !!! I bought Fanatec gear and had the worst experience due to bad quality control/shipping things out that have not yet been tested. Clearly Fanatec is still up to same old tricks , some guys sending back their Podium DD drive from them not being tested properly… So yes please take your time…waiting on my September baby :grinning:

Same here. Sold my Fanatec base and wheel. Patiently waiting for my Sport to arrive in batch 3, and I honestly don’t mind waiting for a quality product.

arm yourself with patience, I placed my order for SC2 Pro in early May and I still don’t know how much I will receive it, so by September I would be very surprised if you received it

Don’t sell your old wheel? I still rock my Fanatec.

isn’t that maybe anyone here sold their wheel to fund the SC2 purchase, which was due to delivery within a very brief time back then? I sold my OSW to fund the purchase in May because 2nd batch was due to deliver in late June. Just focus, it doesn’t seems so hard to understand.

Well I placed my order with DSD a few days ago here in the US and was confirmed for batch 3. When I asked, I was told that about half of their allocation for September shipping was under pre-orders, so I ordered mine instantly to hopefully get into that batch, and I received batch 3 confirmation about 2 hours after placing the order.

Anything can happen when preordering, it is a risk you take.
My OSW broke in the beginning of june, have been steeringwheelless since then, I know how you feel @alessandro85 , but there is no reason to hate the Simucube company, anything can happen with the logistics when there are no items in stock. The best action in your case would be wait, and selling the OSW when the SC2 is available in stores, but I guess that is too late now.
I ordered the SC2 a week ago. Sadly though, I guess I have to wait til october/november, hopefully not later, I am eager to start racing again. :sunglasses:

Far from me any hate for SC company, I think you are totally misleading my posts.

I figured I would sell it anyway because I always said I would take a short break from sim racing, but never actually got myself to do that. This is the perfect opportunity I guess. Yeah it sucks not having a wheel for a little bit, but I have a ton of other games in my library that I would like to go back to in the meantime.

Yeah, sorry about that. I did not mean to blame you, I was just lazy with my writing. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Same here. I got some time to play some other games too, and make some development aswell which is rewarding. It is always good to have a break.

Are you batch 3 preoder?

I guess that’s kinda understandable. Not to be rude, but you really should have 3 months of savings saved up at least for life emergencies. That would have allowed purchase of sc2 and not sell sc1 till you got sc2.

I guess so, but have not yet asked, or heard, about my status. I think I will mail Jed at Simtechracing next week.

GD have done the 2 batch release and shipping, now we can talking about 3 batch
(I’m waiting list):grin::grin:

Ordered last night. Lets hope it come in September and not October
