If that feels good to you then that’s all that matters but compared to real life onboard footage your wheel is way too lively. Have you tried adding some filtering?
Yes I tried. On video im testing with Damping at 10% and more irrc
Friction no more than 3% and no Inertia on the 78T, Filters kills what I want on a DD, so minimal use of them.
Im trying to replicate what iR tells us. Im looking at ir FFB meter when driving and the signal is varying constantly at hi rate (60hz I suppose) and I dont want to change that info adding Filters to smooth the signal.
Has anybody else had any issues with the new iRacing build? It seems like all of my feedback is at about half strength and very dull since the new build for week 13. All other games still feel fine. AC, PC2, RF2 etc. Nice strong expected feedback. iRacing feels really week all of the sudden. It isn’t just my Simucube 2 either, my tactile feedback from my bass shakers seems really weak too. Again other sims feel fine and like they always have, just not IR. Did something change?
I neither before nor after I can find a decent FFB like in the other sims (RF2). road surface effect bumps and absent curbs
Feels better than ever to me on the cars using NTMV7. Have you enabled high torque?
Agree the formula cars with ntm 7 feel good to me. The f3 doesn’t feel silly on them anymore but I haven’t retuned my profiles yet and I did need to crank the strength up
hi all, i’ve always used TD default iracing profile untill now, feels good enough for me on Sport, but yesterday I’ve tried for the 1st time the now-archived old SuperV8 and I wasn’t getting any info at all from tyres or body roll…anybody have a good profile for those cars? thanks
Lower the dampening abit. And the FR filter. Maby add a fue % inertia. What i found so far to add abit more feel.
High torque is enabled. Like I said, other sims feel great just like they always do. iR just feels really weak, but it isn’t just the FFB, the output to the bass shakers in simhub feels weaker too. It is weird.
I have same problem. Before i was running porsche cup car on 60-65 nm and it was really strong and now I need to go on 45 if I want to have some ffb
That’s just the NTM AFAIK, a few people have reported that.
the first 4-5 laps tyres are still building up temperature, therefore ffb might seems weaker. i didn’t notice any change though.
any ideas on how to increase road feel and tire feel in iracing?
when I had the T300 I felt more sensations behind the wheel at FFB level … instead with the cube2 pro I can’t find the right settings. among the profiles present in this discussion I feel unpleasant. I would like to hear more asphalt on the wheels
Try with damping and min force in game settings. I know it should be on 0 but gives better felling if is not on 0. At least for me
There are no canned road texture effects in iRacing so the feel you’re looking for is highly dependant on the individual bumps of the circuit.
Have you been testing at Lime Rock Park by any chance? Tracks like the new version of Lime Rock are incredibly smooth (like real life) where as something like Monza has a much bumpier surface which can be felt via the FFB. In real life you don’t get vibrations through a wheel when a surface is smooth remember.
If you want to maximise road texture then running less damping and lower recon levels will help.
Hi Si Po Just got iracing because they now have AI.As i only have a wi fi connection where i live and cannot play online .Just not sure of correct setting [ re ] max wheel force and wheel force in Iracing. i have SC2 Pro and always run TD at 100% 25 nm and in any game about 15nm…hope you can suggest a good setting Regards Denis
You could ask the streamer Dan for his settings. He drives the Porsche Cup alot, has the SC2 Pro and is pretty fast. AI is only this car ATM.

Hi Boska will do …thanks for the info
Post them here when you do get them
