Hi guys
I have this problem for months now and it has been happening and i am not sure what is the correct way to do it to avoid it. Or if this is actually an issue i am not aware of …

Almost everyday my simucube 2 pro has no response when i JUST turn on the simucube2 and true drive software, there is either …

1: I feel the feedback is there but it is not working with the TD software, if i move the wheel and there is no response in the software and it will also not work in iracing either.
2: It showed the E - stop is PRESSED even if it is not

I always have to turn the simucube2 Off and turn it back on again , it is the only way it will work.

Please help

Which firmware version / release are you running, and what is the serial number of the unit?

No news yet. There is not a lot of data to go on. Does the True Drive show “Waiting for the drive to get ready” or what?

always shows ‘’ E-stop is pressed’’ even it is not. And no matter how I un-press or press it won’t make any different. I must turn off and on again to get it back to work.

Also There is 2 circumstances when it shows ‘’ E-stop is pressed’’ , most of the time I don’t feel any feedback but sometimes I do feel the feedback ( harder to turn ) but it doesn’t response correctly to the wheel icon in TD and it still shows ‘‘E-stop is pressed’’ and it won’t work in iracing either.

I have this issue everyday, anyone else has it?

Its difficult to know, more important is the Operating Mode field right on top of the e-stop indicator.

I will keep an eye on the Operating mode field next time when it happens. What else could that be if not ‘‘operational’’

If it says “waiting for drive to become ready” at that point, then we will have some idea for you to try. But, report back when it happens and lets go from there.

It might be a failed e-stop button OR something is affecting the e-stop signal somehow. Can you try to route the e-stop cable in as simple way as possible so eliminate all causes that could be due to that?

I mounted it on the right side on my simlab px1, so it is the closest to the wheel base and nothing specific or looks wrong about it. This happen almost everyday and they never been moved, always at the same position and i never touched the cable either. No one else will as well.
Today is a good example, it was working fine in the earlier afternoon but in the late when i turned it on again and it just failed.

I believe If the physical switch/ cable has issue it shouldn’t allow me to connect properly again after I just switch off the wheel base every time.

Did you open e-stop to check for loose or crossed wires?

This also happens to me sometimes. Usually a restart solves it. Would it help if I posted the log file?

It happens to me almost everyday. Hoping to get some solution rather than turn it on and off. It is a strange one but it is annoying.The good thing is it Never ran into any issue while using it.

Not as annoying for me as it only happens to me a couple of times a week luckily. But I hope it gets solved. I think it’s a software issue since the e-stop works perfectly outside of those circumstances.

Adding friction on true drive makes my move osscilate on desktop or menu is this normal? for example i add a 10% (wich i never use) and wheel start moving left and right. Thanks

Which Simucube 2 model do you have? I’ve seen something like that as well, maybe the deadband in that effect needs some fine-tuning.

I have pro and last weeks i feel that the base fee s a bit different more notchy/lifeless , like if i always have some damper activated (same settings than before i never use more than 5 or 10% damper) than before as iv posted in other threads im getting used to it but i dont know if its posibble to do some checking to the base, thanks mika
