Clicky. Was a concern of mine, too. They feel good though.
Yeah I added myself to the auto notify and I remember Tomo saying there would be a replacement but nothing about the price being the same or higher.
To be honest Iâm a little disappointed with the lack of SC2 wireless options. Itâs either you pray to find an Ascher in stock, or get dragged into the âŹ799+ price range. I just donât wanna spend that much on a button plate or formula wheel.
@Mika is there a reason why the button module isnât targeted to DIYâers? I donât wanna be rude but I donât think the button plate/wheel manufacturers are stepping up like you guys probably thought they would. Itâs been what, a year now, and we more or less have the same options as before?
This is a good option. Shipping is kind of pricey and for some reason they wonât remove VAT even though Iâm not in EU lol. If they can remove VAT Iâll buy this!
We do not have the resources to give any support for its use. We were already flooding in Simucube 1 DIYers support emails and such.
Here is that SSRG button plate with a 330 mm Sportline rim
Being this rim is dished had to flip the paddles and add some nylon spacers, feels perfect now
I like this size a little better for ACC
Thatâs not the rim Iâd choose but boy, that button box looks superb.
Wow you just barely squeezed thew r20 in there, looks nice though.
Yeah, it is a tight fit but to be honest i think it is easier to find the buttons especially since i use vr exclusively. Thanks for the comment as well!!!
Greetings Sonny. There isnât vat included in the price. I had the same question before i purchased them. You can email them to confirm though
Okay wow. I ordered a Cube Controls Formula Sport Wireless last night. And it will already arrive today
But I have a question about the wireless part. I havenât tried it yet. And I lost my antenna from the base. Will it work without it?
Antenna is required for the wireless connection to work.
Damn okay, Where can i order one?
I just got my Pro last night and from what I can see, itâs a standard WiFi antenna size. You should be able to buy a general WiFi antenna and just screw it on.
The connector type is RP-SMA and frequency is 2.4 GHz.
I just got a Cube Controls GT Lite and while it feels solid overall I have a few niggles:
The 7-way funky switch is a total pain to use, especially with gloves. I donât like that it does not click for each direction (the click is from the push button activating), and its rotary function is impooooossible to use without a million accidental directional inputs with gloves.
Anybody share my impression?
Also, would love to hear good ideas for the top pair of toggle switches. They are described as âon-offâ on CCâs website, so I was surprised to see that they just transmit the signal once when operated, the same in both directions. What have you mapped there?
Replying to myself to correct this post.
The 7-way actually works really well for iracing black boxes and menus, exactly like I had hoped.
So, moving the joystick around lightly, without clicking, produces a directional input. When you move it far enough it also clicks the centre button. The trick is to bind the combination of âdirectional plus clickâ to changing black box or menu! iRacing does support input combinations, so itâs no problem to do this.
Then, using the rotary encoder is easy â it doesnât matter that you move the stick around a bit accidentally while doing so, because the stick inputs alone are not bound to anything .
Iâm keeping my eyes out for this
Bluetooth module, not SC2 specific, but itâs wireless with all the advantages that come with wireless. Plus it looks like itâs not limited to 28 inputs like the SC2-specific wheels might be - it has a funky switch which most of the SC2 wireless wheels donât.
Also waiting for the SRB wheel to come back in some form. Not sure which will win
So happy with this wheel omg! I will 100% save up for another wheel from cube controls.
Order it from https://shop.gperformance.eu/ and it took 24 hours and i got it! Now that is impressive! (Sendt to Norway)
Only minor complaint that the wireless version donât have a 7-way stick(maybe ut uses more battery I guess)
But its so solid. And the paddle shifters are perfect not too loud. Feels amazing.(Dont mind my toe )
The wireless protocol only supports 28 (IIRC) inputs, thatâs why itâs limited. Also no analogue axes like clutch paddles.
