Due to the escalating corona virus situation, some of the development team is probably choosing to work from home or to take few days off completely for the coming week, so it remains to be seen if we can do the needed testing for the IONI firmware issue that was found and (probably?) fixed.
So, unfortunately, no date can be given for a test release.
Safety first. Our wheels and your software is already great. Waiting a bit longer for some more goodies that no one ever expected doesnāt need to be prioritized. Be well.
IĀ“m a very satisfied owner of Augury (30n/m) OSW with 0.11.2 configuration tool software. I think it gives to me all the effects in the proper way and works like a rock, no one error, soā¦
What the update you talking about could gives to me?
Seria una gran noticia en este tiempo de cuarentena, no paro de darle a F5 en la web de descargas de Firmware a la espera de una noticia que nos alegre a los usuarios del Simucube 1 , animo y muchas gracias por el esfuerzo.
It would be great news in this time of quarantine, I do not stop giving F5 on the website of Firmware downloads waiting for a news that makes us Simucube 1 users happy, I encourage you and thank you very much for the effort. : +1:
Its coming soon; there were few tasks this week that removed me from working with Simucube stuff almost completely. But, once work resumes, one of the first things to try is to compile a test firmware. It is literally that close now.
There is a possibility that there is a test release this weekend
But, I would like some testers that have expertise to completely restore the Simucube via the bootloader_reset_settings.dfu file, in case something goes wrong. There is just not time to support downgrading step-by step if something goes wrong.
Weāve tested update a few times and it seems to work fine, but we can never be too carefulā¦
While testing the Simucube 1 upgrade package, there was an unexpected hardware fault with my Simucube and it appears the IONI is not getting power right now.
This was partly expected as I had caused short circuit damage to this Simucube board at home previously, and it was a miracle that it worked this long.
This of course means that I shall get my IONI tested at the office tomorrow even though it is a national holiday.
