Thx!
This was very kind!
Yeah, nice that you like them.
Very kind!
The Ultra low latency setup, I never worked with this effect⌠I should do that in the next time.
And to all of you and your families,
hope you get a very nive christmas!
I have put everything you have posted (220hz FFB, even the 158hz lower signal), and now I can control the curbs with the slew rate : OMG itâs awesome, even on the official forum they said you canât blablabla, thank you very much !!!
The simucube 2 is so powerfull, I understand the slew rate setting, itâs lke a compressor, the wheel reacts as fast, just itâs compressed, and very useful with rf2.
Just off, raceroom feels very thightened now and rF2 spongy with the FFB, I have the feeling of bubble gum tyre with rF2âŚspoiled by raceroom rack steering force better than rF2 bubble tyre
Iâve been wondering that too because what GD has created with Simucube2 is simply brilliant. GD seems to be holding back very gentlemanlike there. But the Simucube2 is really the best wheelbase on the market and you can really prove that with hard facts!
Alot of the gamers think that the FFB is very, very subjective, feelings and all that s***! Sure, the signal should feel good, but always limiting it to feelings is just stupid. Next time DVD Romeo&Juliet, you can rely entirely on feelings. To be honest, I donât care how people treat their FFB these days, because some people are really unfriendly to me when I bring the equalizer and the slew rate into the game. Many people donât understand this at all and then stick with smoothning, damping, friction, inertia and so onâŚ
If you want to do something funny. Go through all these YouTube setup tips and Wheelbase reviews. Count the vocabulary and make a tally list for the vocabulary âfeelingsâ, âfeelsâ and derivatives.
Always reminds me of my sisterâs 90s films/series. Script of half a page, but very big feelings.
Dawsonâs Creek and stuffâŚ
I wish you and your loved ones the same:
marry Xmas and a happy new year!!
Donât forget:
You have to finish first to finish first
I have read through a majority of posts here and I just am wanting to post my settings Iâve been using off and on when returning to this game to see what others could provide for input. The issue Iâm still having is some of my cars, due to RF2âs suspension and the âharsh curbsâ we all know, the sudden forces are crazy high even with all the precautions I have taken. I wanted to know if there was anything else I could do to not lose detail, but not have my hand get ripped offâŚ
You can set the slew rate to a normal value so you wonât lose any detail.
The issue with this is I get HUGE spikes then. I know Iâm losing detail but the spikes for bumps, hitting the side of the road or god help me if a car bumps me are huge without slew rate up.
=D
I know what you mean!!!
First Option is Torque Bandwidht Limiter and it is very easy to adjust.
330Hz
220Hz
150Hz
100Hz
150Hz is my favourite!
Here are a few Curbs. The Signal is the untouched one. The Blue one is the Signal with an 150Hz TBL as an overlay.
But you have to adjust your Slew Rate, 0.1Nm/ms is far to low!!! For a 25Nm Wheelbase @ 100%, I would 0.5 - 1.0 Nm/msâŚIt depends on your car and your settings! @ 0.1Nm/ms you will attack your oversteeringing Signals! Try 0.75 but not 0.1!!!
It should look like this.
Thank you for this info! I wish I understood how Motec worked and could use this for proper FFB settings. Iâll try that today! What is the Torque Bandwidth Limiter for?
Edit:
I just gave it a try and this has to be the best advice Iâve received on this forum! I still donât have a full understanding of the settings because even with knowing a brief description I still donât know the doâs and donâts of the wheel and how their meanings translate into the game. This has greatly enhanced my feeling through the wheel though and I greatly appreciate it!
Would this be something that could go into other titles also? I have several others that I experience the same issue with large spike but Iâve found early on slew rate stopped that, I just didnât know what it was cutting out!
Hi everyone, I have an SC2pro and I need advice on RF2. Which filter can I touch to attenuate vibrations in straights at high speeds when the tire is finished? Possibly without affecting too much the remaining effects of the ffb. I attach a screenshot, and I use smooth 4 in game.
I use the torque bandwidth filter, slew rate or peak and notch filter.
Do you have a Motec file from such a situation?
Yes of course, thanks for your support, here is the link of the telemetry:
https://mega.nz/file/Xkt2hAyC#BmZPtdM52jTAN2fGMXmSZ3aVQV8H50fzfW9LJXVHrnY
You can se the vibrations in the straight during the last laps⌠imagine in the second stint with the same tyre.
About peak and notch filter i donât knok how it works, so I usually donât touch it.
