Using the Argon as a PSU for the Simucube?

It may be a stupid question… but can I use the Argon as standalone PSU? Reasoning: a proper PSU for my Lenze motor is kind of stupid expensive and my disco board died… My Argon however is basically useless and worthless, but would imho give a good PSU now…

although i can’t reply to your main question , wouldn’t it be cheaper to try to change your disco board with a STM32F407G-DISC1 ? you may have to update its firmware though.

Argon is a AC servo drive, that outputs AC voltages to servo motor. Where as you would need a regulated 48 V DC power supply. Completely different things.
