My local microcenter has a couple of Simucube 2 17nm direct drive bases, but at this time no wheels. Could I just take a wheel that doesn’t have a usb connection either wireless or direct wired connection and put it on the simucube and use a separate usb shifter for the time being.
Yes, Simucube wheel base does not care what kind of wheel is on the motor shaft.
