So long and thanks for all the fish :)

Foa, rewarding yourself is an absolutely good idea!! And it’s totally justified! Be proud of yourself because you didn’t freeze in fear when you received the diagnosis! And because you’re sharing such a personal experience with us today, I respect you even more.

I remember very well how you communicated your forced break from Sim racing. That’s one of the reasons (among others) why I find it completely understandable that you bought another Simucube. I’ve had mine for almost five years now. I haven’t had a single problem so far, absolutely zero!
The decision of “what steering device I should go with” mostly is based on:

  • Hardware/built quality
  • Capabilities, limitations (precision, accuracy, comparison with fe real driving)

G

  • Price

Simulator 2 models still are the most precise ones, the most. dynamic ones and the ones using the best parts as solution ( brushless servomotor designed as inrunner vs stepper) or the encoder, Simucube 2 comes with a 22 bit absolute encoder vs Fanatec which partially uses motors with 65’000 cpr

Compare Simracing gear!!!
