Yes, in iRacing and having linear Nm visible mode enabled, increasing the force reading there will increase the clipping point of the force, thus making forces generally lower.
Yes, I know I raised the force by “lowering” the Nm scale.
what servo are you using?
Small Mige with 12.86A at 100%, rf 3, tb unlimited, dampening 0.3%, friction 0.2%, inertia 0.6%
my test so far in AC. Small mige, 100% force, RF2, 12A, tb 650hz.
0.7 : the forces in the game are strong. I can feel the rubber of the tyres, and not much the micro details of the road. I can feel the grip.
0.8 : the forces are weaker. I can feel more details butI don’t have the rubber feeling. More direct feeling of the curbs but less grip sensation (meaning when the tyres load on corner).
I will continue the testing but I think that I need to raise the RF up to 4 or 5 and the forces in game (maybe 10% more).
I agree that the feeling of grip-loss was better in FW-v0.7 and in v0.8, it just feels a bit more vague.
I’m using AC / AMS / rF2 and some PC2 for comparison.
