Simucube Active Pedal Connector and Link Hub Questions

I’m trying to understand exactly how this works as the description I read on a seller’s site is confusing:

The Simucube Connector is a cable that links one Heusinkveld pedal to the Simucube ActivePedal. By using the connector, you can adjust your passive pedals through the ActivePedal software.

Does that mean, after the Pedal Connector, the cable connects into the AP Pro itself or the Link Hub?

Further Questions:

  1. Do the SC AP Pro’s have to be connected to the Link Hub then the Link Hub to the PC?

  2. If using just one AP, why can’t you just plug the pedal directly into the PC without having to buy/use a Link Hub?

P.S.
Regarding the Pedal Connector, I have Simsonn pedals which apparently work with the Heusinkveld SmartControl Box so I’m assuming they’ll work with the SC Pedal Connector.

The Heusinkveld connector connects a Heusinkveld pedal to the passive pedal input of the ActivePedal.

  1. yes

  2. the pedal is a Simucube Link device and it does not have USB on it.
