It could be great to be able to use SC3 on linux in the futur.
a fork form the community validate by Granite and simucube seems a good plan
I would love to do it but i haven’t any capacity to code

We are closely monitoring the Linux developments. However there are still no native racing games of note on that platform. Valve is doing a great job on their Proton compatibility layers, and lets see what happens when Steam Machine gets released.
From our point of view, we don’t want to invest / hire Linux experts to our product support (that is expensive!), and I think we could consider Linux port if we can pipe all non-device related support to the Linux distribution’s support. So far only Steam Machine is looking promising on that regard.
The only sim who don’t work on linux is Iracing
Lmu working flawlessly.
AMS2 same
All EAC should work since it’s an option to activate not a full dev required. Less protection but you don’t really have a lot of kernel cheat on linux since a lot of linux distrib isolate kernel.
Just need to hope for success on the steam machine.
Currently, i’m not sure if my SC3 and my active pedals are going to work on LMU so i don’t make the switch.
But regards to the dev part, a lot of solution are made form the linux community.
elgato is a good exemple.
All linux driver are community made and validate by elgato
