Is there any way to increase the font size in True Drive?

True Drive (mostly) follows the Windows font size settings. How many other apps have separate font scalings?

With Classic there are command line params you can use

small - Makes UI to open in small mode on High-DPI displays.
large - Makes UI to open as larger window on High-DPI displays

On my ultrawide G9 I had to use small as global font scaling didnā€™t work that well.

Not sure if Paddock version still supports those.

@Mika.My main sim is ACC. Please tell me if with no filters, all to zero, last TD is less on details, less crisp and less reactive than 2021.12 or 2021.9. Iā€™ve read that the firmware was modified since the version 2022.2 for improve precision/smoothness of sinusoidal current waveforms Thanks.

Any feedback on 2023.02? Worth upgrading to?

Well Iā€™m using the latest firmwar and I donā€™t understand my ffb at all, I donā€™t know whatā€™s going on? It seems to me much too damped, I have to have a reconstruction filter on
5, I wonder if Iā€™m not going to go back to the January FW?

Did you adjust direct input filters? Maybe you have damping there at 100

@getmlh. Seems to me the same with latests fw since 2022.2, like not with high fidelity , high definition of ftb. Maybe some kind of smoothness but dampened in some way. And btw with all filters to zero including direct inputs. ACC in my case. I wondered if electrical signals was polished in return not was some losts of detailsā€¦ Only GD developers knows.

Its placebo, there were no changes at all to anything else than directinput damping filter in the latest release.

I mean, as long as there is no more information about this, there is no bug to find as long as the real time operating system tasks run at the same rate on the device, which they do, as the damping change was only around a microsecond long additional code.

Maybe you are right @Mika , and I hope so, in any case since I downloaded this last version I have the ā€œimpressionā€ to play PC2 whereas I am on assetto corsa, this week I am on holidays, I will deepen this FW.

Which was the latest FW where you felt more details, seems like no changes were introduced in the latest iteration, perhaps something happened in between, there were lots of changes if you look at the release notes.

@Andrew_WOT Last one is 2021.12 wich feel the same as 2021.9.

I didnā€™t try 2023.1, but with 2023.2, when turn quickly and hard left-right left-right feel and hear some noise like ā€œclonk clonkā€, some kind of knocks.

In what situation? There is a compromise between the Directinput damping effect working as it should and still feeling good while trying to fix the issue with the very slight knocks that do not affect the FFB when driving.

ACC M4GT3, Silverstone, all filters off, just recon 1, friction 10, DIirect imput damping 10.

A lot of time? The much improved DirectInput effects were released in 2022.11, and then fine tuned, and finally the glitch in the damping calculation was 99% resolved in 2023.2 release by adding filtering to deviceā€™s shaft rotation speed signal. This was tested with a handful of testers who had noticed the glitches/notches, and with the 2023.2 release all of them were satisfied that it works in satisfactory way.

Does DIdampening in AC really works only on a stationary car, and is this proofen to absolute certainty?
What method is used to constant dampening the motor, and how it differs to the way friction works?

The static filters on the servo drive are not controlled by the game and they work properly.

The non-static filters (DirectInput filters) are controlled by the game. Iā€™ve yet to see game applying any damping coefficient when the car is moving, so the effect does not output anything.

I sayed a lot of time because the Direct imput sliders was oresent before the 2022.11. For what was there if not working properly? .Just like unfinished product was released . This is my pov. Iā€™m not happy with last versions, so i reverted back to an older one. I wait a good version without compromises who can be at same level or better than Asetek.
