Simucube 2 steering range vs bumpstop offset for iRacing

I’m unsure how to set the steering range and bumpstop offset properly.
In iRacing I have everything set to 900 degrees. In Simucube True Drive I have a steering range 900 degrees, but what about this bumpstop offset? The online profile I was using has it set to 90 degrees. Does it make sense to have bumpstop smaller than the steering range?

It can make sense if the car has less steering range than the software range.
Few cars made use of full range pf 900° (iirc Cadillac has 1080°) so you can force TrueDrive bumpstops (hard) over iRacing ones (softer).

For example: gt3 cars tend to use 540-720° so you can use 900° on iracing config, 900° on TrueDrive and then in some cars limit the bumpstops to reach 540° and use the hardware capabilities.

Then, some iRacing cars made weird things when you reach the steering limit, like the forces fade out or in some Porsche’s the animated ingame wheel stops before reaching the limit
