As the title says, my wheelbase is rotating approx 70-80 degrees to the left whenever I start it up. After I get the beeps to say its on, I can pull it back to centre and it works fine. I am currently using the new Tuner Software but this started while I was still using the older True Drive Software. Its has gone through a few updates to the Software and Firmwarwe but the problem remains. What should I be looking at to try and fix it.
The wheel base does not center the wheel physically on startup. If you wish to have this behavior, you can enable the desktop centering spring effect in the wheelbase settings.
If you wheel base does the left-right-left encoder calibration routine at start, then it seems it has forgotten the absolute encoder mode for some reason. you can hit CTRL-E in True Drive to enable the calibration again and it won’t then need to do that anymore. In Tuner, the CTRL-E menu is available when the settings view (where the desktop centering spring slider is) is open.
Yep, that seems to have done the trick. I was hoping there was a way into that CTRL-E menu in the new Tuner software, but couldn’t find any instruction on how.
