I recently set up my sim rig and got myself a simucube 2 pro on July/29/24 but haven’t used it aside from the initial test. Today when getting to use it for the first time after setting up the rig, the wheelbase started disconnecting every few minutes and at some point would only be on for few seconds before going off. The behavior is very weird as these are the symptoms:
- The wheelbase just turns off every few minutes.
- I pause for a few seconds before attempting to restart.
- The device gets stuck in “waiting”, “fault” or “disconnected” State.
I am also getting these errors when it is either in “waiting” of “fault” state:
Motor Faults (cycle E-stop to clear): Power Stage Forced Off Fault Location ID: 440205Motor Faults (cycle E-stop to clear): Undervoltage Fault Location ID: 140405
I’ve tried to troubleshoot but to no success. Here’s what I have tried:
- disconnected the power supply for a few hours before attempting to restart.
- connected the power supply directly into its own outlet rather than a surge protector or power strip.
- detangled all the cables and ensured all connections to the PC or wheelbase are secure.
I’d like some assistance on what I can do to solve this.
