Simucube 2 Pro failing, no real support after days. Very disappointed (US customer)

I’m a US customer and I’m honestly shocked by how this has gone.

I paid premium money for a Simucube 2 Pro (bought through Trak Racer, delivered November 2025). It’s not even a year old and it’s failing badly. At higher force peaks the base suddenly shuts off. Over the last few months it has gotten worse, and now it sometimes locks up the whole software and makes an unusual sound. I’ve tried everything: softer forces, different profiles, tutorials, and every troubleshooting step Trak Racer gave me. Nothing works. The unit is faulty.

I opened a ticket on October 15 (#25079). The only answer was an automated list of documentation links. I followed up on October 15 and 16 and got nothing. I opened a second contact (#25099) and finally got a one-line “How can we assist you?” after I had already described the problem in detail.

Trak Racer told me they can’t process my return until Simucube confirms the unit is faulty. So I’m stuck: a dead base, no working rig, and a manufacturer that won’t give a real answer. There’s no support phone line, and the company number listed in Finland doesn’t work for me.

I don’t understand how a product this expensive can fail like this, or how the support behind it can be this slow and ineffective. For the price, US customers deserve much better. I’m going to keep sharing my experience publicly until this is resolved.

Simucube team: please confirm the fault on my ticket so Trak Racer can process my refund. I don’t want a replacement after this experience.

Hi Cristian,

Our technical support team has been attending the simracing expo in Frankfurt and if you have submitted a ticket on the 15th, the earliest we will be able to have a look at it, is on the 20th. Busy times - but we are also hiring a new member to our team to have more redundancy.

Even in normal circumstances our typical response times to support tickets - be it EU or US ones - are 1-3 working days.

Looks like the PSU of the unit is the probable cause of the issue, not the wheelbase itself.
