Hello all,

I’am just a newbie, so maybe this is a bit of a strange question.

First of all: I have the Simucube 2 pro now for a month or so and I’am really happy with the product. It is even better than my high expectations.

This week I’am driving the Skippy in iRacing at Spa and I notice some clipping only in the Busstop chicane. At Virginia and the Nordschleife I haven’t experienced this behaviour. I have already lowered the strength in TD as in iRacing, but the beeps are still there.

In TD I’am running 50% and in iRacing around 60 nm. I know it is not the hands off detection because I have that option switched off.

Basically I don’t really care, but I want to be sure I don’t damage the device by clipping. I believe I saw some post about this topic, but I can’t find them any longer.

You cannot damage the device with torque clipping.

Is the iRacing FFB bar indicating RED at the point of clipping? If it is happening only on one corner, it is nothing to worry about.

I’am glad to hear that. Yep, indeed the FFB bar goes very short in the red area.
