Simucube 2 on Linux

Anyone got the newest March 26th, 2025 release (Should be version 263) working?
I tried this one today and Simucube Tuner could not detect my wheelbase.
Firmware should be already up to date as I used that Version on a Windows machine.

Check the Tuner settings that you have enabled Simucube 2 support. That setting is saved in to the registry so it may be different on your Wine instance and Windows.

Thank you so much. I must have been blind not seeing the option in the Simucube Tuner itself.

However I also had to change the “runner” for the wine bottle to “Proton-GE” or something similar. With the default wine runner the wheelbase could not be detected. With the “Proton-GE” runner everything worked perfectly and high torque mode could be activated without problems.
Thanks again

I have an interesting bug, the interface of the new ST does not refresh when I click in some option, if I do alt-tab the interface refreshes.

By ST, you mean Simucube Tuner?

We have had some reports that it didn’t work on Windows 10. However graphics driver update fixed that.

Yes, simucube tuner, it’s quite an interesting one, maybe I need to install something else into this wine prefix, I can use it (because I do not really do anything in the interface, always use same profile for all games.).
I see the interface but it does not refresh, if I hide it, eg. behind a browser window when I I bring it back to the top it is updated, so I can somewhat use it with a lot of alt tabbing

After many nights of trying, I finally got it to work but with the same refresh issue you described. Did you leave it at that or did you get it to work without refreshing every move? Now i have to work out how to get it into the same prefix as everything else.

I really did not put a lot of energy, just went back to the former true drive  - I also do not run all at the same prefix as I basically use one profile for all games.
