SimpleMotion v2 plugin and Mach 3?

This is just a general question: The SimpleMotion V2 plugin only supports Mach 4 professional. Not Mach 3, right?

Yes, the plugin if only for Mach4, and still in beta state.

OK. Thanks. I am looking for a hardware solution that does not lock in the user to either Mach or LinuxCNC. We intend to test LinuxCNC first and if the user absolutely refuses to use it, then we will look at Mach :slight_smile:
