Running Simucube and Ioni Pro HC without a motor

Hey chaps

While I’m waiting for my small mige to turn up, as the title suggests, is there any issue powering up the Simucube and Pro HC without a motor connected?

My second question (since I haven’t powered it up yet) is: I assume that the Simucube comes without any firmware and that I need to follow this tutorial to get the thing up and running: https://granitedevices.com/wiki/SimuCUBE_Firmware_User_Guide

There is no problem to power on without motor. You will be unable to perform the motor configuration wizard, though.
