I drive drifting in Assetto and the problem is that sometimes the steering feel is strange and the steering wheel turns freely a strange sound is heard.
When the fault is on, the steering doesn’t feel fast enough, I’m not quite sure what’s wrong.
The sound is rattling, like something is loose or similar.
A similar sound can be heard when driving, for example, over the curb.
The problem is random and usually helps when you restart the game. Sometimes it takes a few starts and the problem is gone. It started a week ago and has been happening more often now. Turning True Drive off doesn’t help.
I’ve tried different cars, tracks, true drive profiles, etc. but nothing helps. Base is connected via usb hub, but I also tried a different usb extension cable.
What could be wrong?
