PMR FFB feels like a gear-wheel on my SC2Pro

I know - it’s still in it’s very infancy, but I tried PMR on my SC2Pro with MX5 on Limerock. I immediately felt rumble-sensation when I turned the wheel, like a very old gear-driven wheel.

The rest of the FFB felt decent - only this underlying issue is a bit annoying. It goes away if I use heavy smooting in the general settings of the game, but then eveything feels dull.

Has anyone tried and has a decent config?

If it’s anything like AMS2, try adding a Notch Filter at 200hz

Definitely worth experimenting with the advanced ffb settings in the tuner. You will get noticeable results and you’ll hopefully find something that works.

That reminds me, I saw a video showing EQ Low/Mid/High in-game in PMR that I believe are the equivalent of the Notch Filter. Give them a try (start with Mid).

PMR ffb is a very different animal. There is useful info available on the Giants / PMR website explaining how the FFB works. While it’s not an ideal layout, the per-car ffb settings have a major impact on the resulting ffb that has to be done for each car and saved as a unique setup, as far as I can tell.

The EQ settings are breaking down the ffb details into 3 frequency parts - Low / Mid-range / High. These settings must vary in order to be effective! In other words, if we alter them by equal amounts, they have no effect what-so-ever. Try increasing only the mid-range by a few points and you should feel a lot more detail in the FFB. Experiment and adjust to your preference.
