Simracinbay Simucube 30NM
Firmware Version 0.9.8
Config Tool 0.9.8
IONI Drive Firmware Version 10702

Here my Settings

Did it do the same in 0.9.7 version of the firmware?

Hello

The same Problem with Firmware 0.9.7

With MMOS i had no Problems. I used a while to recognize that the simu is the problem. I also installed windows new, downgrade some drivers etc.

I would very much suspect this is not a SimuCUBE related issue, as if it was, there would much more similar reports about this.

But when the PC crahes and i reboot without reset the Ioni Board (Turn Power off / on), the PC crashes after few seconds / a minute… and when i turn the wheel on the Desktop, the PC crashes immediately.

When i reset the ioni board, the pc works well for hours and other Games (Battlefield, GTAV etc.) When i start IR and crash into a wall the PC freeze.

What is you motherboard and which USB port on that motherboard you have connected the SimuCUBE to?

Asus Z170 Gaming / Aura

I used a USB on the Board (no USB Card)

I wanna say that i had no Problems with MMOS since Feb. 2017

That motherboard has an Asmedia chipset:

USB Ports
ASMedia® USB 3.1 controller :
1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 port(s) (1 at back panel, red, Type-A)
ASMedia® USB 3.1 controller :
1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 port(s) (1 at back panel, , USB USB Type-CTM, Reversible)
Intel® Z170 chipset :
6 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 port(s) (4 at back panel, blue, 2 at mid-board)
Intel® Z170 chipset :
8 x USB 2.0/1.1 port(s) (2 at back panel, black, 6 at mid-board)

Can you verify that the SimuCUBE is on one of the Intel USB ports?

The Simu is connected to an Intel USB Port.

But i located the failure now

As i looked at which port the Simu is connected, the PC crahses in this moment when i “shaked” at the cables…Everytime now when i shake on the cables the PC crashes. The CM Case is placed on the top of my PC. And the PC is mounted on the Rig. I think everytime i crash in IR the Rig shakes and the cables too… and the PC crashes. I had to check now if there is a problem with a cable or a “cold solder iron”. Its my fault, the Cables hang in a loop and the whole wheigt of the Cables (Power and Data for Motor) hangs on the connector.

Its awesome. The Simu works fine for over a year, and now when i try the new Config Tool i get a problem with the Cables :relaxed:

Thanks Mika for your personal and quick help :muscle::+1:
