Hi,
I have a question for the development team and the community regarding a potential feature in Simucube Tuner. Is it currently possible (or planned) to toggle between software profiles or specific clutch curves using a button on the wheel during a session?
My Use Case:
I’m looking to optimize my launch procedure without compromising my shifting speed later in the race. Ideally, I need two different characteristics for my passive clutch:
Race Start: A long, precise throw (linear or with a specific plateau/bite point) to nail the launch and avoid wheel spin.
During the Race: A very short, aggressive throw (near-instant engagement) to maximize shifting speed.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this, or is this something that could be implemented in a future software update?
I would like to be able to assign this function to a button. I want to start the race with a linear clutch map, and then press a button to toggle a profile with a very short bite point (short clutch)
So would there be a need to map both of these profiles to the automatic profile switching system or how would it work?
Its much more work to add simple features when you start to think about complex interactions that also need to have a specification on how they should work.
You may already make a shortcut that selects certain profiles by Tuner, and I think you could map that to any button action via some third party software, so essentially this is already possible, just not directly in Tuner.
