Omron R88M Servos

Morning,

I’ve got the perhaps all too familiar question - Will this work?
I have a long languishing Ioni Cube sitting in a drawer and the offer (too good to be true?) of some cheap servos: - Omron R88M-U10030VA-S1

Now, these are 200VAC which the wiki says ‘it will work if it has incremental encoder feedback, but maximum rotation speed is limited due to drive voltage’. I plan on using them in a Spark Eroder (EDM) project so torques and speed shouldn’t be hi. They come with encoders.

Hi

IONI can drive that motor well at lower speeds assuming that the encoder is of supported type.
