hi Loukas,
thanks for that, I’ve already done this but doesn’t seem to be working. I can map the buttons but the steering doesn’t do anything - I suppose I should go green or blue when I turn in factor calibration (Bottom left)
Can you upload your current controller.json somewhere to check ?
Yes will do
To be honest I have the same’ problem with assetto the wheels aren’t moving in game but on the control menu the Simucube pro appears and I can see the sensitivity
Really annoying
I don’t play acc to help. If you mean asetto corsa although i have it , i use different ui (content manager) so i can’t guide you through but i remember it is quite straightforward. If i remember correctly although it shows up you still have to assign your wheel in order to move. So try to assign it again.
Yep normal assetto
Not sure how to assign the wheel though
There are a lot of wheels in the menu
I assigned the gear up and down on the shifters and that works but not turning.
Do the wheels turn even if you are in the pit ?
You don’t load any wheel from the menu. Just press where it says axis and move your wheel and it should assign it.
Yep tried that and nothing happens
I am not official support so maybe should maybe ask them , but in the meantime some questions.
Plug your wheel straight to your computer and not through hub. Are you on the latest firmware? Try another usb. Both your wheel psu seem operational? E-stop? High torque mode? It could be something really easy and not be able to think of it atm.
Last firmware
Power supply both have blue led
E stop is released
High torque mode is off
In true drive I can see everything working fine (degrees and buttons are all responding well)
I asked Mika via MP
Thanks so much for your kind help
No problem. Why don’t you enable high torque?
The Simucube isn’t fixed yet. It was just to check that it worked fine. And I believe activating high torque will be dangerous.
Getting the chassis next week but I need to check whether it’s working fine or not.
Got the wheels to turn in AC finally bloody USB port at fault. Can’t test while accelerating obviously.
Still no luck for rfactor
Yeahhhhh finally got it to work :))))
maybe the problem is with the demo of rfactor2 but upload your current controller.json just in case.
how do i load in game
Go to settings and then controls and hit the load button and then find the name of the preset for your wheel
Hi All, I was having this issue today too - rFactor 2 just would not recognise the Simucube 2 Pro.
The pedals (HEU Sprint) and wheel (Cube Controls) was being assigned fine.
I noticed when I assigned the “keys” we had JOY1, JOY2 was HEU and JOY3 was Cube, and that left Simucube to be JOY1 (but was set as JOY3 on screen), however in the json file it was JOY2, so a quick copy and paste sorted it out.
I can share screenshots if it helps, just realised late in the day (SIM PC now off) to share here since the i was following the instructions here to help fix the issue
