No response from my SC1

I have a question regarding SC1 regarding connection issue.

Problems arise when:

I accidently plug the power cable of the servo motor to the control unit upside down and as I turned the power on, the LED light on the Ioni started flashing in 3S1L sequence. I wonder would the board has any protection for this case, or would it just fry the simucube board. Many thanks.

I’ve tried to connect the Simucibe board without any connection to the servo motor and there is still no response from the computer.

You are not the first one to do it. If I remember correctly, it will fry something on the Simucube board but I don’t know what it is.

The X1 connector is keyed and it does take considerable force to put it in wrong way around.
