Recently bought two simucube kits for several friends. I had already ridden 3 before. The difference with these is that the encoder is the biss-c, and I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
The fact is that I do the whole process just like the wiki, bootloader, simucube installation and the enconder, but when I restart the simucube there are no beeps or steering wheel movement from one side to the other, but it seems to work properly, so I do not know if it is a problem really or is all right.
Let’s see if a charitable soul can inform me, since I have the same “problem” in the 3 kits I’m installed.
Biss-C does not need to “pass” zero when initializing.
The older encoder needs that, that’s why they wiggle back and forth and making that sound.

My Biss-C does beep. Maybe you have audible beep switched off.
