my first simucube

Hello to everyone!
I purchased a simucube with small Mige motor and biss-c encoder, it’s a DIY kit but everything works, a couple of questions:
Is this type of psu ok for the simucube?
I saw in some photos that someone connected the gnd pin next to the + and - connectors on the board and tied it to the power supply casing, it is not present here, should I do it?

the fan was connected incorrectly and I fixed it.

This PSU model is a bit rare, but since it is a switching power supply that has current limiting overload feature instead of hickup/turn-off feature, it is very well suitable for use in this application.

I can’t comment on the grounding, since giving direct advice on that based on just the picture would not be a good idea in terms of liability.

thanks,
I asked the question about the gnd because I saw this wiring in this photo while in the wiki page with acrylic case the earth on the psu chassis It’s missed

That is the protective earth (PE). Since your image does not show how that is wired in your setup, it won’t be possible for me to advice.
