It seems you have IONI (the standard model). It does not support Serial encoders such as BiSS-C.
First thing, under Goals, CED /Direction Input should be enabled. Select that and save to device memory, restart drive…

Yep, it shows under Connect/Connected Devices info as baseline Ioni only. It needs to be Pro or Pro HC to support BiSS encoder.
Anyway, Ioni Pro is enough for small MiGe, no need for Pro HC
that can happen if Simucube is still trying to communicate with IONI (you didn’t click the Enable IONI USB Configuration Mode).
IONI Standard does not have Reconstruction Filter either.

Good luck sorting that out, hopefully the seller will either furnish you with an Ioni pro, or refund you, if he has made mistake with specifications during selling.
