I have another question regarding the IONI, using Granity.
For some reason I would like to invert the step motor rotation. So I check the box “Invert direction” but I discover this also makes all absolute position sensor reading negative 
Why ?

Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to this, and the relevant people are already on their summer holidays and will be back in August.
I shall consider going onto vacation too
