Why is the max travel setting for my active pedal only 40.4mm? I have a default mechanical configuration and according to manual it should offer 62mm?
It also depends on the pedal rest position. If the rest position (via the configure window) is not at the front most position, the amount of tilt on the pedal will “eat up” the available travel range on the mechanics.
Does reduction of pedal rest postion somehow impact performance, or Can I reduce it to 0?
the rest position is something that is related to ergonomics in your rig. Pretty much all simracing pedal sets have adjustment for this.
