Hello,

I’m a question for to update a IONICUBE X1.

Can I update this little motherboard with simplemotion V2 and without 24v supply?

Hi Shellxy

I’m now assuming you want to update the IONI that’s attached to an IONICUBE 1X. The 24V is for the logic voltage, and is required for the +5V regulator that supplies the logic voltage to the IONI. The 5V regulator accepts some 9V+, so it doesn’t necessarily need to be a 24 V PSU.

So, I can do update my IONI only with a simplemotion V2 connected.

You need at least logic psu connected.
