How do I find out what encoder I have on my Simucube OSW without actually opening it? On the base it says it’s a 130ST-M15015. Is there a step by step guide to do this? Looked at the manual but must’ve missed it.

You would need to open up the rear cover of the motor to expose the encoder and look at it’s markings.
Other way would be to connect to the servo drive via Granity software and see what the encoder settings are set to - assuming the unit is functional, of course.
