I just bought a Simucube 2 Pro and installed the hardware and software. Everything seems working fine so i loaded the standard iRacing profile and went for a testdrive. After 2 corners the FFB was gone. I returned to the True Drive software and i got the error message “Motor Faults: Over current! Power Stage Forced Off (Fault location ID: 442001)”.
If i push/pull the e-stop, or turning the power off/on, the error is gone but now as soon as i turn the wheel (in Windows) the error is back again.
Can anyone help me with this?
Hello, has anyone found problem solution for this?
One of my Simucube 2 sports started showing this error when I turn it on.
I press ON, there is a quick beep and motor just starts oscillating like crazy for a second and error comes on: "Motor Faults: Over current! Power Stage Forced Off (Fault location ID: 442001)”.
I have installed the latest software this morning, nothing helps…
I reset it just to try it going again because when the wheel starts up its instantly hitting max rotation to the side and wheel recognition on TD dissapears, motor fault comes up. I reset it with the emergency button but the moment I deactivate it just goes mad again instantly.
Hi Mika ! I got a problem with my simucube 2 pro (first batch if it can help) I upgrade from 2020.1 to 2021.9 with truedrive .But after this i realize after a couple of wheel base crashed in American truck simulator and wrc that something is wrong with the rotation because its dont stop at the profile rotation maximum .So i just update to the last version and did’nt fixed it .I deleted every single profiles and even the default one in offline profile… reset the base with and witout the emergency button like someone said earlier… Din’nt work .So i tested it further.Recreate a default offline profile and when i am in the wheel status the software can pass throught the 450 degrees (half of 900) but i can continue to turn the wheel physiquely and the green light come after 450 degree and if i continue the wheel disconect with the error 442001. i can put the wheel degree at 2160 exemple for ats and the green light coming around 1130 …
There were some releases with sometimes buggy end stops on the wheel. If the same thing is happening on the latest release, can you please show your settings also?
If the servo drive system is in a fault state, then of course it doesn’t produce torque and you are able to turn over the endstop and at that point, the led changes color. Eventually the servo drive triggers another fault with completely senseless over rotation.
