Going from Mmos to Simucube software. simucube 0.71
I get this error with 0.11.2 also

Did you try to install first 0.50.4 because you can’t from mmos ? Can you try to update ioni firmware from granity but without resseting your motor settings ? It is a simucube board correct ?
but withput reaaeting ypur motor settings ?
Fixed , just autocorrect didn’t work haha. Latest ioni version can be found here https://granitedevices.com/wiki/IONI_firmware_releases . Update is being done through granity but as i said don’t check the box to reset the motor settings.

0.50.4 doesn’t work when you migrate from mmos. There is a huge warning. Now you have to do a specific order of steps . Mika or joe are more familiar with the process but i am sure they ll get you sorted in no time

Yes, 0.11.2 will work for new installs, 0.50.4 has a bug in this. There is a warning about this on the firmware download page.
