Tuner says waiting for telemetry, even though I have copied the SC-LMU plugin into the plugin director for LMU. I have configured simhub with the rfactor 2 plugin etc. All telemetry works in simhub for ddu’s and race labs for overlays. In tuner however, it never registers ABS haptic, and in fact I cannot even test the haptics and have them work when LMU is running.
I reinstalled LMU, re copied the files and still nothing.
The “waiting for telemetry” is just an UI glitch for the plugin. All the effects should work just fine. There have been a few reports about similar thing but everything works at our office.
A fix for the UI glitch is going to be in for the next Tuner release, and we will have another look after that to see if there is something else going on.
Unfortunately no effects work, and oddly in the tuner software when you go to test ABS for instance while LMU is running it also does not work. Once you close the game the test function works again. The effects also work in ACC and other sims no problem.
I redownload Tuner 2.5 and I see the plugin is the same date as my current one of June 27. I have moved it into the steam apps LMU plugin folder I tested it before launching the game and it works in test mode.
Once the game is launched test mode no longer works and it doesn’t work in game. As soon as I quit LMU test mode works again for haptics.
I am also having similar issues with the AP Ultimates and LMU specifically. When testing ABS and TC effects on Tuner 2.6.1, it transmits fine but in-game, even though Tuner recognizes LMU in the Telemetry section, the effects are either non-existent or extremely weak. Very frustrating, I had a better experience with haptics with the Simagic P-HPRs and Sim Hub’s telemetry.
Unfortunately, the issue persists after updating to Tuber 2.6.3 and copying the updated(?) LMU plugin file. Tuber detects that LMU is running and even displays the car that I am driving. However, in the bottom left corner, the message remains “waiting for telemetry.” This issue does not occur with AC, ACC, or AC Evo.
I can also add that after the recent Sim Hub update that adds support for the Active Pedals, the telemetry works just fine and I am able to use the effects Sim Hub provides for the AP.
For now, I will just continue using Sim Hub for telemetry-based effects for the AP as I can’t seem to figure out why Tuner’s effects do not work on LMU.
Do you mean the ABS assist in the assists section? If so, I have ALL assists turned off (ABS, TC, racing line, pit stop limiter, etc.) The only “assist” that is turned on is auto-clutch.
