Bracket for SC2

the one from simlab it’s the one i am using at the moment as i wrote on the thread before…but on the simlab gt1 evo rig i have quite a lot of flex using that bracket, therefore i think i will turn the upright bracket horizontally, buy 2 40x40 140mm profiles from simlab, 8 connectors, the augury bracket and mount the sport this way, hoping to get rid of the flex.

Im using Augury bracket with SC2 Sport with 2x200mm profiles at both sides.
200mm are perfect to eliminate the “wings” of the bracket and confine the SC2 servo between the 2 profiles. Less than 200mm and cables will collide with the back profile.
For the SC2 PRO, no less than 250mm profiles.

There is nothing I hate more in this world than my knees hitting the steering column (or profile under the base) so I have achieved my goal with this solution, and it also allows me to change the angle without restrictions

Simlab used to make an adjustable. I sold many of them and the Ascher.

Maybe if enough people showed interest Richard and the guys at Simlab would start stocking the adjustable mount again😁

my idea was using 2 140mm 40x40 profiles because augury bracket is 136mm deep, therefore with that measure any leverage effect on the 40x80 profile below would be minimized; i feel that 200mm are way too long, also because I won’t use the bracket as you do but i will place the 140mm profiles right on top of the horizontal one, not perpendicular as you did.
this is an example of the way I will mount the profiles :

mine will have less space in front ahead of the horizontal bar, I will place them more centered, with 40mm difference both sides, so that they can sit more even and as said minimize the leverage.

Sim-lab made adjustments to their bracket, now it’s featuring reinforcing side braces.
The advantage of this bracket that it has smallest footprint and fits into standard 3 holes Fanatec mounting pattern.
More here.

ok guys, everyone is repeating what I wrote on the first post.
The newest type of Simlab bracket, with the lateral reinforcing bar, it’s the one I am currently using, and I am mounting it using the Fanatec 3 holes, that’s literally my current setup.

But what is the point you are trying to make?
Are you asking what is the best bracket?
What is the best way to mount your bracket which clearly is not the best?
Or totally different question?

*** referring to regular mige motors bracket.
I wrote it at the end of first post, just read.

I told you what the motor mount was it was an Ascher.
Others told you where you could buy a similar bracket.
You seem upset that people are answering those questions.

I am all but upset, believe me, and you clearly misunderstood my words and my question too, apart from the bracket thing - this questions has been solved - i was asking for advice about what type and lenght of alu profile I could use on my wheel deck.
have a nice day Joe.

Yes you are absolutely correct I misunderstood your words.

I think others misunderstood you as well as we were pointing you to different mount options.

Thanks for explaining what you really want.

I am really glad your problem is solved and you can race and have fun!!:blush:

I just noticed you live in Italy.
Are you writing in English or translating Italian to English?

I’m writing at the best that my knowledge of english language allows me  I guess it’s not that good

You are doing ok.

Sorry I misunderstood you!

I thought you were getting angry with us for trying to help.
Now I know to ask questions more clearly.
If you ever do not understand what one of us are trying to say, ask us to use different words maybe that will help.

I am also Italian and sometimes it is different to understand what we mean by the google translator or with knowledge of a language that is not ours. therefore we apologize for this … and also for other reasons. I do not deny that I was a little ashamed (from Italian) when certain subjects have put confusion on this forum and I tell you that we are not all so … luckily!

did somebody say geek? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

also … but not only him!

So you need wheel deck, not mounting bracket for motor.
Did you check sim-lab front mounting options?

I need a bracket, to mount it directly on profiles arranged like this (as I already shown before) :
Annotazione%202019-09-08%20002453

both simlab front options are too wide for my rig, 600mm vs 480mm. I would need to change all horizontal profile bars and the pedal deck too.

Im using this bracket for my CSW 2.5 and i plan to continue by adding the sim-lab mige adapter when my SC2 arrives.

Im actually using two i figured it was handy to put my fan on

SRB included a nice mounting bracket with my Ultimate but I won’t be using it with my simlab wheel deck as I will be using the simlab front mount
