Problems arise when:
-TOP LEFT AND RIGHT NOT DETECTED
How it behaves:
-From the start. First plug after unboxing the product. All connected .The USB is on a 2.0 plug
-Turning the power .
-The wheel turn left right and stop after a few second
-The process requested by the AUGURY TEAM is to turn to the top left the wheel til the “top” is get
-But the top never comes after 10 spin…
I have no idea what they mean by „top left top right“, its a wheel, there is only right and left
first, to get out of the DFU mode, open the windows device manager, under usb controllers there should be a device called DFU something. delete that device. mmos should show a green usb plug again.
when the wheel is powered on and the green usb plug is showing up, you should see the „center steering and save offset“ text on the top. center your wheel, click on the small circle in front of the text.
if all is ready, you should power on the wheel, it phases and then you have to move the wheel over the centerpoint to initialise the wheel. there is no rule where the real centerpoint of your servo is, it depends how you mounted it etc. so you just turn the wheel 180deg left or right. to see if your wheel is ready you can activate the desktop effect damper. as soon as you turn the wheel over the centerpoint and the wheel is ready, it gets heavy because the desktop effect damper is activated.
maybe this video does help to understand better:
at 1:50 the wheel does phase and then he turns the wheel left and right to find the centerpoint of his servo.
the steering lock/stop is given by the 900degrees you have set in mmos. so you can turn the wheel 450degrees left and 450degrees right but first you have to define the centerpoint by centering your wheel. otherwise mmos does not know where to set the so called bumpstops (steering stop).
do you see the DFU device under windows, settings, devices, connected devices?
And you say: so you can turn the wheel 450degrees left and 450degrees right but first you have to define the centerpoint by centering your wheel. otherwise mmos does not know where to set the so called bumpstops (steering stop).
Center point is define by clicking on it…But no steering stop
that looks fine now. after phasing just turn the wheel 180degrees left, then 180degrees right. at the moment it says „center steering“ but it should change to „center steering and save offset“ after you turned the wheel 180degrees left/right.
I mean you wont need the bumpstops, you will never feel them ingame because you don’t turn the wheel 900° but still… very strange, never seen or heard of it!? you can turn your wheel indefinitely?
Try turning the gain up to about 50 - 60x and see if you can feel them… You may have the gain set low enough where you can barely recognize they are there…
Hmm weird… usually if the end stops aren’t working it indicates that the counterpoint index cannot be found which is weird since your settings indicate basically that it is found…
