Problem with power 36V 600W

Hello,

I’m back with my problem, but little different.

With new power supply MeanWell 36V 600W ( setting with 37V)
For information:
Small Mige
IONI Pro HC
Simucube

MPP: 600W
FOC: Maximum
FOV: 40 DC
FUV: 20 DC
I check the “Measure resistance & inductance”

Granity: 1.14
IONI: 1.7.0

If I’m look for change MMC for more than 12, it’s just possible if I downgrade MCC
See the list for maximum setting.
[MCC] [MMC]
—6------20
—6------19
—6------18
—7------17
—8------16
—9------15
–10-----14
–11-----13
–12-----12

Is it right ?? Normal ??

I am not even sure why you will want to exceed the 12.76A POS peak-current of the small Mige.

Set MMC to 12.76A and set MCC to somewhere between 9-12A and you’re good to go.

You do not have a problem with your setup.

Hi,

Sorry with my english …
I use MCC 10 et MMC 12 for play. It’s all right.

But a friend, with a big Mige (and 33V power), for use MMC = 19 the MCC is very low 5.

Just I found strange why MMC work with very small MCC

MCC is a safety Amperage for our uses and needs to be lower than MMC mainly just for the IONI Drive to initialize. I generally set the MMC to the peak of sine constant amperage of the servo, but it could be a couple amps less than MMC or a significant amount as with your friends Large Mige.
